Privacy policy

The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run your account. We do not sell your data, we do not use your workspace content to train machine-learning models, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
1. What we collect
Account data. Your email address, name if you give one, password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form), timezone and theme preference.
Workspace content. Everything you create in Syntroza PA — projects, tasks, notes, contacts, financial records and so on. This is yours; we hold it to provide the Service.
Billing data. Your billing email and the subscription identifiers Paystack returns to us. We never receive or store your card number. Card details are entered on Paystack’s own page.
Operational logs. Server logs containing IP address, timestamp and request path, kept for security and debugging.
2. Why we hold it
- To operate your account and show you your own data
- To take payment and manage your subscription
- To send service messages such as password resets and billing notices
- To detect and investigate abuse and security incidents
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We do not use your workspace content for marketing, profiling or model training.
3. Who else sees it
Paystack processes payments and receives your billing email and payment details directly. Paystack’s own privacy policy governs that data.
Our hosting provider stores the data at rest on our behalf, under contract.
People you invite. Members of a workspace can see that workspace’s content. Members of one workspace can never see another’s.
We disclose data to authorities only where we are legally required to, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
4. AI and your data
Syntroza PA does not currently send your data to any third-party AI provider. The AI layer in development is designed to run a self-hosted model on our own infrastructure, so your projects, clients and financial records are not transmitted to an external model to be processed, retained or trained on. If that ever changes we will update this policy and tell you before it takes effect.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in and remember your theme and active workspace. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. After cancellation we retain your workspace so you can export it or come back. Ask us and we will delete your account and its content permanently, except records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
You can export everything through the API at any time without asking us.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, and access to your workspace is checked on every single request rather than only at sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you promptly and explain what happened.
