No, and that is deliberate. The AI layer is still being built, so Pro takes your email address instead of your card. When it opens you get invited first. Charging for something that does not work yet is the fastest way to lose the people most likely to have paid for it.

Because running it costs money on every request — inference, storage and the server it runs on. Those costs are funded directly by AI subscriptions, so a free trial would fund the infrastructure out of nothing. Standard, which is the complete product without AI, does have a 3-day free trial with no card required.

The dollar figure is there so the price is easy to compare internationally. Our Paystack account settles in Kenyan Shillings, so the actual charge is always in KES — KES 903 a month for Standard and KES 3,225 for Pro. Both numbers are shown everywhere, so nothing on your statement is a surprise.

The charge is made in Kenyan Shillings. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts it at their own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, exactly as with any other KES purchase.
